Chris Haverland, CFA is an accomplished investment strategist and portfolio management leader with more than 30 years of experience in global equity markets, asset allocation, and fixed income management. He recently served as Executive Director and Global Equity Strategist at the Wells Fargo Investment Institute (WFII), where he provided global equity guidance, developed earnings and market forecasts, set strategic and tactical asset allocations, and published thought leadership for Wealth and Investment Management clients. He was a member of WFll’s Global Investment Strategy Committee and has been frequently quoted in leading financial media outlets including Bloomberg, CNBC, Forbes, MarketWatch, and Reuters.

Throughout his tenure at Wells Fargo, Chris held multiple senior investment roles spanning global equity strategy and asset allocation strategy. He led analyst teams, co-managed discretionary portfolios, and developed capital market assumptions for equities, fixed income, real assets, and alternatives. Earlier in his career at Lincoln Financial, he managed $2.6 billion in fixed-income assets and co-managed $1 billion in discretionary portfolios, with responsibilities across corporate bonds, private placements, mortgage-backed securities, and asset/liability management.

Chris earned his MBA from Elon University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Appalachian State University. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2003.
